VLT Egg-in-a-Hole Tartine


INGREDIENTS

  • Sandwich bread loaf sliced lengthwise, toasted (here Boulangerie Ange)
  • Olive oil
  • 2 eggs (please see preparation below)
  • Roasted vine tomatoes (season with olive oil, salt and pepper. Bake at 350F between 10 – 12 minutes)
  • Veggie Black Forest ham (Alternative Kitchen, Organic)
  • Sundried tomatoes
  • Fresh chervil
  • Lettuce salad

Using a cookie cutter, make a hole in the bread slice. Brush with olive oil. Crack the egg in the hole and bake at 350F for 6-8 minutes.
